Eagle Creek Reservoir

Eagle Creek Reservoir is a 1,400-acre lake located in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was created in 1968 by the construction of the Eagle Creek Dam on the Eagle Creek, which is a tributary of the White River. The reservoir serves as a water supply for Indianapolis and as a recreation destination for boating, fishing, camping, hiking, and birdwatching. The reservoir is home to a variety of fish species, including largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish. The Eagle Creek Park, which surrounds the reservoir, offers a range of recreational amenities such as boat rentals, picnic areas, nature center, and hiking and biking trails. It is one of the largest parks in Indianapolis and attracts visitors from across the region.
